What are all these crazy Undoctored programs about? Let me discuss each program and its purpose and role.
I’ve put together a number of resources to help you and your family pursue your lives Undoctored, i.e., protected as much as possible from the predatory, profit-seeking practices of a healthcare system gone rotten. While there will always be a role for conventional healthcare to, for instance, repair an otherwise fatal congenital heart defect such as Tetralogy of Fallot in an infant, or resuscitate someone from an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, that is not what the bulk of healthcare dollars go towards. Most healthcare dollars are spent on chronic conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, acid reflux, joint pain, depression, etc. Big Pharma likes it this way because 10, 20, or 30 years of prescription opportunities is a lot better than, say, a 10-day course of antibiotics.
Most doctors and the healthcare systems like it this way, too. Imagine how much the rheumatologist or endocrinologist would make, or how much the hospital could charge for 5- or 6-figure procedures if nearly all the people they encountered were healthy? What if ophthalmologists could no longer make their $1000+ per patient eye injections many times per day to pay for the Maserati or if orthopedic surgeons were paid for ability and expertise, not an arbitrarily inflated fee schedule that allows them to work a few hours per day but make high 6-figure or 7-figure incomes? What if the drug industry were no longer able to deceive the public with direct-to-consumer ads that Big Media (TV and print) love so much because it brings in billions of dollars in ad revenues? The highly-profitable $3 trillion healthcare system would collapse, reduced to a system that only managed catastrophic emergencies, injuries, infections, congenital and genetic conditions, as well as a self-pay system for, say, Botox injections or a tummy tuck—as it should be. Healthcare would lose the awful but most profitable conditions that now extract 18% of annual GDP and are causing employers to divert more and more money away from salary and compensation to pay for healthcare insurance premiums.
I feel very strongly that people without a background in healthcare or science can seize the reins of health and achieve a level of health that is superior to that obtained through healthcare—dramatically superior. If you follow the Undoctored principles, you do not treat health conditions with drugs and procedures; you correct the factors that allow abnormal health conditions to develop—a big difference. You can witness this process play out every day in the Undoctored and Wheat Belly Facebook pages, for instance, with people no longer having type 2 diabetes, losing substantial weight without counting calories, reversing autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, being freed of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, getting rid of acid reflux and ulcerative colitis, while feeling better and looking like they’ve turned back the clock 10 or 20 years—not through treatment, but by eliminating/correcting the factors that allowed such conditions to emerge.
I’ve therefore been busy creating/supporting various Undoctored resources to bring this message to as many people as possible to suit different needs, learning styles, desired levels of engagement, etc. These resources are evolving and are, admittedly, not perfect, but are works in progress designed to help you succeed in this important lifestyle and philosophical change. Among the resources we’ve created:
This is the book that lays the foundation, explaining why the doctor is no longer on your side, why hospitals are very dangerous places and should be avoided as much as possible, and why you generally cannot obtain genuine answers to health through the system. BUT you can obtain powerful, personally-empowering health information on your own with a bit of benign guidance. By doing so, you can achieve levels of health, slenderness, and appearance that will dumbfound your doctor, causing him/her to stutter on why they didn’t help you do this.
The Undoctored Blog keeps you up-to-date on some of the newest insights and strategies as they unfold. For example, we have lately been discussing how to cultivate a specific bacterial strain of Lactobacillus reuteri and amplify the counts via prebiotic-infused yogurt. To date, we are witnessing some dramatic effects in appetite suppression (a virtual shutdown of appetite), acceleration of weight loss from visceral fat, and—most exciting of all for many of the ladies—thickening of the skin, smoothing of wrinkles. Don’t count on your doctor to show you how to do this.
The Facebook page for Undoctored is a way for you to communicate with me and others involved in the Undoctored projects, as well as a means of being “fed” news, including that from the Undoctored Blog. It is also a way for you to draw friends, acquaintances, and family into the discussion.
The Undoctored Inner Circle is where we collaborate with each other and discuss the various facets of the program, as well as explore new ideas. It is NOT a place to share your peculiar health problem, nor obtain a diagnosis when doctors have failed. It is a place for all of us to connect and collaborate in the Undoctored philosophy and program. The Undoctored Inner Circle makes use of some innovative tools such as our weekly Virtual Meetups that allow a virtual face-to-face meeting among participants to share questions and experiences, or the Undoctored Low-Cost Healthcare Insurance Project in which we aim to develop projects that allow Undoctored followers to opt-out of oppressive and costly conventional healthcare insurance.
Undoctored U is our certification course for anyone wishing to become adept at navigating and teaching the Undoctored program and principles to clients, patients, and other people. We enroll nurses, physicians, naturopaths, chiropractors, health coaches and others involved in providing health advice to others.
The Undoctored Online Learning Courses are courses that help you navigate the science, rationale, and strategies of the Undoctored program as confidently as possible. If, for example, you read the Undoctored book but still do not feel confident that you are able to follow or understand all its components, the two main courses—21 Days to Undoctored Health and 21 Days to an Undoctored Lifestyle—will get you there through an impressive collection of videos and other learning materials.
As part of my mission to broadcast this message as far and wide as possible, we are also putting together the pieces to deliver an Undoctored program that can be followed through your workplace, an add-on to (generally ineffective) workplace wellness programs.
Remember: Just knowing that you do not have to become the victim of predatory doctors and healthcare system and are capable of achieving astounding levels of personal health on your own is the first step. The next step is to understand and adopt a handful of health strategies that yield results dramatically superior to anything the healthcare system would achieve.
