There is a basic truth about the Undoctored philosophy that is helpful to understand. Understand this basic tenet and I believe that you will derive greater benefit and clarity from engaging in the Undoctored approach and will be more likely to stay on course for lifelong health benefits.
In the Undoctored program, we do not “treat” health conditions; we address the factors that allow health conditions to emerge. It may seem like a minor distinction but, in reality, it is a huge difference.
Let’s take rheumatoid arthritis, for instance.
In conventional healthcare, if someone has the joint pain and swelling of rheumatoid arthritis, doctors prescribe anti-inflammatory agents to reduce the white blood cell infiltration of the joint, tumor necrosis factor-blocking agents to block this mediator of inflammation, prescribe opiates to block the sensation of pain.
In the Undoctored approach, we eliminate the gliadin protein that initiated autoimmunity via the intestine, we correct vitamin D deficiency that permits autoimmune phenomena to emerge, correct omega-3 fatty acid deficiency that allows prostaglandin-mediated inflammation to occur, address disrupted bowel flora or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, SIBO, associated with metabolic endotoxemia that allows body-wide inflammation to thrive. We also reduce visceral fat that amplifies inflammation.
In other words, in conventional healthcare, the various phenomena of rheumatoid arthritis are squashed while never addressing any of the underlying causes. It means that vitamin D deficiency remains unaddressed, omega-3 fatty acid deficiency is unaddressed, disrupted bowel flora remains unaddressed, visceral fat is unaddressed, all free to continue to cause other health problems such as type 2 diabetes, bone thinning, seasonal affective disorder, and dementia. There are also, of course, awful side-effects of the drugs administered, side-effects such as gastrointestinal hemorrhage and liver damage.
In the Undoctored approach, we address the various factors that allow joint pain and inflammation to emerge. In addition to reducing/eliminating the inflammation and pain of rheumatoid arthritis, we also rebuild bone density, improve mood and energy, reverse irritable bowel syndrome and bowel inflammation, normalize hormonal disruptions, reduce blood sugar and reverse type 2 diabetes, etc. We enjoy side-benefits, not side-effects.
Do you now understand the chasm of difference between conventional healthcare and the Undoctored approach?
